David
Oellerich - Owner & President
A graduate of the University of Florida’s Rinker
School of Building Construction, David is the senior managing
principal of Mathews Construction. He has been in the
construction industry for 25 years advancing through positions
in estimating, marketing and operations with international
and regional construction firms before assuming the day-to-day
control of Mathews from his father in 1994. David currently
serves as the Chair-Elect of Metropolitan Ministries in
Tampa and on the Advisory Board for the School of Architecture
and Community Design at the University of South Florida.
He has served as the President of the Rotary Club of Tampa
and as President of the University of Tampa’s Board
of Fellows. |

Kim
French - Vice President of Clients
A graduate of Central Michigan University with a Business Administration Degree, Kim has worked in both the design and construction industries for over 34 years. His career prior to joining Mathews included positions with several large national design and construction firms primarily in project development and administration . He has extensive experience in both the Construction Management “at risk”, and Design Build delivery formats on major projects throughout Florida. Kim’s primary responsibilities include developing the firm’s business development strategies, leading our Client Relationship program, and helping manage our overall project teams as Project Executive. |

Randy
Fitkin - Vice President of Operations
A graduate of the University of Florida’s Rinker
School of Building Construction, Randy brings a broad
range of operational experience to the firm. His career
started as a form carpenter and lead foreman on several
large University projects before he entered UF. Since
then he has progressed to numerous field and project management
assignments. Prior to joining Mathews, Randy spent several
years as a Sr. Project Manager for a large national construction
firm managing several teams building multi-million dollar
projects for the State University System, major medical,
athletic and commercial projects. |

George
Goodspeed - Vice President of Estimating
A graduate of the University of Florida’s Rinker
School of Building Construction, George has more than
22 years of project management, pre-construction and estimating
experience. George worked as a house framing carpenter
while attending UF before beginning a career concentrating
primarily on assisting owners, architects and engineers
in developing and analyzing construction costs. He has
had full estimating responsibility for both new and renovation
projects in the retail, food service, industrial warehousing
and manufacturing, educational, medical, technology, historic
and institutional markets. |

Robert Humpel - Vice President of Southwest Florida Region
A graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining Mathews Construction, Rob worked for several large international construction firms where he specialized in health care, university and educational projects. His responsibilities have included superintendent, project manager, manager of the cost and scheduling department, and preconstruction manager. Rob is based in the Southwest Florida office, in Punta Gorda. Under his direction in the SW Florida Group has experienced significant growth and added many new clients in the area for Mathews Construction. |

Michele Pilger - Chief Financial Officer
A graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Michele is a CPA with over 20 years of experience before coming to Mathews as the CFO of an international fabrication and construction company and 10 years of Public Accounting experience. In addition to her financial management duties, she also manages the company’s insurance and human resources programs.
