office space and public meeting rooms. The exterior and
interior of the Children’s Board’s facility reflects the
architectural and historical face of Ybor City while providing
a fun, welcoming accessible, creative and safe environment for
those who work in and visit the facility. Openness, natural
light, and creative use of green space has characterized the
building. The facility is an integral part of the
community, standing as a place where families, neighborhoods
and community gather share the learning, the resources and the
responsibility for improving the lives of children and
families in Hillsborough County.
